Bit of artistic licence here; I have 'put back' some of those stones that history destroyed. Today those lost stones are marked by simple concrete pillars which were placed there in the 1930's by Alexander Keiller during one of his many excavations of the Avebury complex.

Stonehenge

I used watercolour pencils for this drawing of Stonehenge, after being given a rare opportunity to walk amongst these ancient megaliths.
