Avebury Manor Wiltshire

The Tudor manor at Avebury dates from the mid 16th century, however the site is much older and was originally occupied by a Benedictine priory owned by the French abbey of St. George de Boscherville of Normandy (now demolished) from 1114. This drawing is of the south facing elevation, an addition added to the first house by Sir James Mervyn in 1600/01.

Dunster Castle
